Here is some useful information about booking your vacation at Desire Resort Riviera Maya:

• When looking to book your stay at Desire Resort, please keep in mind that the resort runs at better than 90% occupancy year round. The major holiday weekends, Valentine's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, all sell out three to four months in advance. Christmas and New Year's normally sell out six month or more in advance and that is also a 6 night minimum stay, if you are staying over December 31st. We have many couples that book their reservations over a year in advance. With just a $200 deposit required to place your reservation, you should too. With the Junior Suite Ocean View, Junior Suite Garden View and Passion Suites the first to go, you need to plan even further in advance if you wish one of these suites for you stay at Desire Resort Riviera Maya.
• Desire Resorts Riviera Maya has 3 different rate periods throughout the year, Winter which runs from January 2nd through April 30th, Summer that runs from May 1st through December 25th and then Holiday that runs from December 26th through January 1st. There are promotions that are available for Summer and Winter periods and they will automatically be applied to your quote. You don't have to worry about a better rate coming along after you book, as we monitor any changes in the promotions and will update your reservation if a better rate becomes available during your stay. Most of the promotions are on rooms in the Deluxe Garden View and Superior Garden View rooms, but there are occasional promotions for Deluxe Ocean View rooms. There is almost never a promotion on the Junior Suite Garden View, Junior Suite Ocean View and Passion Suites.
• While Desire Resorts does not guarantee room requests, we try our best to honor them. The more general the request, the better chance we can accommodate it, ie ground floor in Building 22 or 25 or not Building 10.
